This project was inspired by the idea of objects submerging out of the darkness. By using an iphone to capture the self portrait, i edited it and made the contrast in the background phase out any light except complete darkness. I was left with the object of the lamp shining forth on the face to complete the image. I edit it in various forms to bring out more perspective to the subject.
